Experiencing a distinct lack of domestic tranquility here. Peaseblossom seems to feel genuinely threatened by Cousteau, despite his total absence of agression towards her or the universe at large. Carrie says it takes about a week for cats to get used to each other. It's gonna be a long week.

LOL. A week for the hissing to abate? We have a gang of cats that have been together for 4 years and their angst still reigns supreme. I'm just stubborner than my cats, I guess. Sad that the cutie had to find a new home.

Peaseblossom used to wrestle Omega twice daily at feeding time, but she never displayed this kind of fireworks with him. I just didn't see anything to be gained by forcing her to live with a cat she was afraid of. I might try introducing a kitten later, but for now I'm just giving it a rest.
